Last update: May 17th' 02

Not a real update but its almost been a while since the last update ^^;.Anyway Im revamping things a bit soon and wanted to give a little notice. Also the current tutorials are really old and crude and will be removed for new stuff.

Starting:

When beginning a drawing what I suggest you do is to start of rough. Coming from someone(me) who hates dirty sketches your real goal should be to get your basic elements and features in without making to big a deal about it as you go. Creating a "preview sketch" is something I find very helpful to myself. What is that? Well I take a separate sheet of paper and make an really rough nasty-looking sketch or stick figure in the basic form of the pose you want to configure. Then take a clean sheet of whatever you draw on and make the real images by form it's features slowly (Note: I don't draw with stick-figures at all. They're good for basics but really I don't find them good for making a nice work.), after a while it should be forming to your liking.

My Fav. Character Tutorials:

These are a few of my favorite characters from various anime series and films. You can look at them and download for personal use but please don' take them and put them up on another site unless I give permission. I do plan on adding(and updating old ones) more so be on the lookout for those. Also if you have a suggestion feel free to run it by me and I may make a tutorial based on what you asked for.

Adjusting Photoshop Levels

Sketching,Inking:

I have a few methods to getting a pic ready for the coloring process. But first i'll tell you where I picked up my tips from http://pendako.syste.ms ,a neat place to go :P. Naska made the tutorial and im hoping she'll update it sometime. As for me I sketch in H-2H lead and finalize me lines with an HB lead. I like this technique because it gives me more freedom to screw up and not have it show. The other supplies I use are G-pens, Micron by Sakura or the Pilot Precise V5(extra fine). What you use really has nor bearing on the final work just pic something and find what's right for you :D.

The previous image was done only in pencil lead(points up), it can also make some great line variation. The dirt was cleaned up with the levels and eraser tool, there still is dirt but it can't be seen to easily. One more thing I forgot was this place http://jdillon.net a site I highly recommend @_@ .

Me hand is kinda tired so i'll work up more to say later! But do enjoy what is here, i'll be making a photoshop tutorial soon but I still need to pick that program apart -_-;;.
